Suren Rasaily – Chairperson

He holds Masters in Development Studies from a reputed university in Nepal. He has a prominent experience on family-based care of orphans and children from unfit family. He has worked with several national and international organizations on projects around rescue of children from trafficking, exploitation and prevention efforts through community-based approaches. He is passionate about every child in a safe, loving and caring family. He has trained several NGOs in Nepal and Asia on ‘transition of children from orphanages to family or family-based care’. He is also a visiting lecturer at St James Research Centre UK, operated by Global Family Care Network.

Dhan Bahadur Bhattarai – Vice Chairperson

Dhan Bahadur Bhattarai is at his 60s. He is a proven mentor for poor and marginalized families. As a volunteer social worker he meets 10-12 families every week and mentors them on strong family relationships, ethical parenting, and advocating for children’s rights. He is also a good mentor for the board team.

Ishwari Bishwokarma - Secretary

Ishwari Bishwokarma is very passionate about empowering women and young girls to protect from domestic violence and abuse. Some of her prominent work experience is teaching and awareness to women in some of the most vulnerable communities - especially in those communities where child marriage and trafficking is highly prevelant. She is also a Sunday School Teacher for more than 15 years.

Goma Kumari Sunar Saru Thapa - Treasurer

Ms Goma has a paralegal profession. She runs a legal firm in Kathmandu. She works with a group of lawyers and social workers, delivering justice to marginalized ethnic communities including Dalits. She is awarded by Indraniram International Award 2023 and Nepal India Maitri International Award 2019 for her remarkable work advocating the rights of Dalit and marginalized women in Nepal.

Budhe Tamang - Member

Budhe Tamang is a pastor, mentor and a social worker. He has run a children's home for more than 5 years before he completely focused his work in pastoring and mentoring to vulnerable families. His children's home experience is valuable to the organization.

Tara Das - Member

Ms Tara is a foster mother who has raised four children. All of them are adults now and independent. She practically advocated that family based care for children is in their best interest. She brings tremendous wisdom to the project from her foster care experiences.

Sarita Sunar - Member

Ms Sarita has been a practising nurse for more than 7 years. A good learner and follower. She is an asset to the organization.
